Challenge
Kurz Ceramics was a newly founded, one-person pottery studio that needed a clear and trustworthy identity to exist online and sell products via an e-commerce platform. With no prior brand presence, it was essential to stand out in a crowded market without losing authenticity. The owner placed strong emphasis on values such as ecology, craftsmanship, and intentional living. The challenge was to translate these beliefs into a coherent visual language and digital presence.
solution
I defined the brand’s needs by combining basic brand segmentation with the founder’s personal values and creative philosophy. The result was a calm, honest visual identity rooted in natural textures, muted colors, and simple typography inspired by stoneware ceramics. The brand was designed primarily for online communication, with a strong focus on storytelling and values. An e-commerce platform was created to support direct sales and build a conscious, value-driven relationship with customers.
